Community Food Initiatives North East (CFINE)

CFINE LOGOCommunity Food Initiatives North East (CFINE) is a social enterprise and charity that benefit the community by improving it’s health and well-being.

Social Enterprise – CFINE sell quality fresh fruit, veg and healthy snacks to hundreds of customers in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Food Bank – CFINE operate a food bank from their premises in Aberdeen, distributing emergency food parcels to those in need.

FareShare – CFINE redistribute perfectly edible, in-date surplus food from the food industry to charities and community organisations throughout the north east.

Community Food Outlets – CFINE sell fresh produce available at affordable prices in the community.

Cook at the ‘Nook – CFINE have a Community Training Kitchen that is opening soon!

Support Services – CFINE offer a range of services to people experiencing food poverty, including financial capability and referrals.

Zero Waste Scotland – CFINE run a number of projects based around waste reduction and tackling carbon emissions.

Volunteers – CFINE also support a large team of dedicated volunteers, work placements, and supported employment.
