Highlands Small Communities Housing Trust (HSCHT) is a registered charity set up in 1998 to help rural communities secure long-term solutions to their local housing needs.
HSCHT represent a wide range of interests including communities, local government, landowners, crofters and housing associations.
By helping rural communities better understand, present and ultimately meet their needs for additional affordable housing. HSCHT play an important role in actively supporting their long-term viability.
HSCHT receive funding from a variety of sources including the Scottish Government and various charitable trusts and foundations in addition to their own income from housing development work and other fee-earning business activities.
