Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust (HHCDT) works for Cambuslang and Rutherglen. Their vision is for Cambuslang and Rutherglen to be the healthiest and happiest places to live in Scotland. They work towards this by providing opportunities for people to actively improve their lives and the places where they live, work and play. They are a community owned organisation, governed by local people and all our work is directed by local priorities.
Over the last 15 years HHCDT have grown and developed successfully – they have a high degree of local support, both from local people and our partners and funders. Each year, around 6,000 local people take part in the organisation’s work and they deliver work across up to 98 different local venues. You can read their most recent Annual Report by clicking HERE. HHCDT undertake a wide range of activities which meet their aim of improving the lives of people living in Cambuslang and Rutherglen. They currently group their activities and services under five service areas:
