Link Community Development International (Link) is a family of charitable organisations that envisions a world where every child has access to a quality education. Supported by their International office in Edinburgh, Scotland, Link works with our partner organisations in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Rwanda and Uganda, supporting nearly 2 million children in over 3,000 schools during 25 successful years. Working directly with schools, communities and government, Link provides support and training for more effective teaching, improved school management, increased community engagement and better learner outcomes.
The vision of Link Community Development is a world where all children have access to quality education.
Link’s mission is to inspire sustainable innovations in national education policy using grassroots approaches to improve accountability and learner outcomes.
We all know that education is one of the most powerful instruments for reducing poverty and inequality and lays a foundation for sustained economic growth in developing countries. Since 1992 Link has impacted over 1.7 million learners in over 3,000 schools throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Learners in their districts obtain an average of 52% higher exam scores than other districts.
If you would like to jump on board helping to educate so many that need it, feel free to go to Link’s website HERE, or see what they’re doing on Facebook.
