Henry Giroux on Neoliberalism, Youth and Social Justice

A ten minute video on Neoliberalism, it’s values of self interest and profit, and it’s diminishing effect on the welfare state. A discussion on what this means for youth, low-income and minority groups and a need for ‘drawing up a new map’ with values of compassion, justice and equality, the need for broad-based social movements, and a reclaiming of education as a means to enhance student ability to critique, be creative and work collectively.
